The Phuket Watersports Centre (PWSC) has been formed, to encourage tourists, locals and our ISSA sailing school students, to 'Go on Water', at our fabulous beach location at Ao Yon Beach. Weekend activities include ISSA sailing courses and Day Sail Trips by SIA Yachts. You can also Charter one of our yachts, with an expert skipper or instructor.
We are open to all. - Guests, Tourists, Phuket residents and Friends of Phuket Watersports Centre. Friends of PWSC are a Whats App group that you can join after completing one course and you can then join in our weekend sailing and weekday safari trips. Friends can also seek other Friends on our Whats App Group when you want to go sailing.

Cruising Yacht Highlander
Highlander is a superb offshore sailing yacht that sleeps 6-8 persons. Designed for Blue Water Sailing this Contest 41 is a Danish built yacht that suits Milecatcher activities. The vessel is perfect for sailing to Langkawi or to the Butang Islands, Krabi or Phang Nga Bay. The vessel has professional crew that includes a skipper / chef or if you like you can just have a Skipper and either eat ashore or cater for the crew yourself. The vessel is a beautiful looking and luxuriously appointed yacht. Trips to outlying areas such as Phang Nga Bay and Krabi are possible in just one or two days. The vessel has a canoe and SUP available as well as a dinghy for trips to beaches or restaurants ashore. The sleeping accommodation is for six persons only. Sail a Trimaran
The Corsair Trimaran Shanghai Baby is one of the most popular yachts in our fleet because it is 100% fun and easy to sail. If the wind is 8knots or above the boat begins to fly and in stronger winds can achieve 20+ knots. The vessel is in good condition and sports new sails, safety equipment, vhf radio and even wifi electronics for racing. The vessel can take upto 10 people on local island trips, beaching this boat is easy and picnics on a lovely tropical island with a private beach is easy. Talk to us about your thoughts for a day trip or weekend overnight trip. Don't forget to take your camera, mask and snorkel and some beverages too on your trip!
Learn to Sail a Cruising Yacht
The Farr Platu Beaver and the JOD 35 Magic are perfect cruising vessels for day sailing to islands in SE Phuket. The yachts can take up to 8 passengers to outlying islands for day trips. If you have a special occasion you may want to rent the boat for more than a day. Weekend trips are extremely popular with these boats as you can sleep on board (up to 8 people). The vessel has a stern ladder so once anchored you are ready to jump into the clear waters of a tropical sea. SUP
SUP's are available at the Phuket Watersport Centre. We have new boards available at very reasonable cost. Ao Yon Bay is often a flat water bay so its easy to stand up and if you fall in the water, don't worry there are no rocks or dangers to worry about. We provide buoyancy aids to all users.
Snorkeling
Masks and snorkels are available if you are going off in Shanghai Baby or one of our large yachts for a day trip. We have lots of these but bring your own fins or flippers please!

If you live on Phuket island we invite you to become a member of the Phuket Watersports Centre (either as Individual or Family members) and join in the wide range of activity at our beach location. We currently have about 50 members who sail, paddle or kayak a variety of craft. Join in sailing trips are also available. Come and try out dragon boating when the Dragon Boat Club meet.
