The Phuket Water Sports Centre arranges activities for tourists and locals. The Whats App Groups below are available for you to join, if the activity appeals to you. We organise Sailing and Adventure Sailing Trips to both local and far off places - usually at weekends.
We will use Whats App Groups for organising most of these trips or activities. These groups are run by SIA at PWSC, but you should decide what groups really appeal to you and join the group or groups. The link provided allows you to join and then if you want to go ISLAND SAFARI for example, you write a quick text to people on that link and see if you can can find other members to JOIN YOU etc. If you want to be involved in one or more of the following GROUPS please click on the link and JOIN the GROUP.
The SIA Friends group is on Whats App and you can join the group if you want to Go on a Sailing Safari. If you’d like to invite other friends along, ask them to join the group too.
Weekends are our most popular times for sailing. Our Platus are very reasonably priced for 3-5 people and you can sail around the local islands. If you are well organised pack a picnic.
Maybe you’d like to learn how to use a spinnaker or a screecher with a view to sailing in the regattas organised by Phuket Yacht Club. SIA are always top performers with our Platus and Cruiser racers. Join us!!
Are you trying to get more mileage or consolidate your skills and knowledge. If so we arrange 3-4 day Milecatcher trips to plavces like Krabi, Ko Yao Yai or Play Yard. Great sailing and perfect for boat handling.

PWSC 2025 Events
These are the trips for SIA Friends and Members for the following two months. Please check our events page and contact us on WhatsApp if you'd like to join our trip or charter one of our yachts to sail with us on the trips advertised below.
▪ May 24th/25th 20245 - Weekend trip to Paradise Ko Yao Noi is available to SIA Friends Group. Cost for this trip is (6,000THB/pax)
- June 27th / 28th/ 29th 2025 - Long Weekend trip to Krabi is available to Whats App Group members and SIA Friends. Cost for this trip is (10,000THB/pax). We will use Highlander and Magic. Members wishing to sail with their own crews may choose Trimaran or Piccolo (need 4 pax).
▪ July 26th -27th 2025 - Weekend Sailing from AO YON to PLAY YARD (Environmental Park) is available to SIA Friends - Cost is only (6000THB/pax) for the two day sailing trip. We will use Highlander and Magic. Group members wishing to sail with their own crews may choose Trimaran or Piccolo (need 4 pax).
- August 10-24th is our Annual trip to Langkawi via the Andaman sea islands. Two yachts are available for this trip so get in touch and find out what an exciting Adventure we are going to have doing this trip.

The Day trips to various islands are weekend activities planned for members to enjoy some outstanding island locations. Ko Yao Yai, Ko Yao Noi and so many more. Snorkel off the back of our boat and be amazed by the diversity of sea life.

The Big Boats
Our 2 Farr 1104s and our JOD 35 are used for the trips to nearby islands and the Contest 41 is used for trips to Langkawi, Penang and possibly Andaman Islands and Summatra.. They can carry 7 to 8 people and are a delight to sail, particularly if we can throw up a spinnaker This involves all the crew and is fast and fun! These boats are great for groups and if you are havoing a Birthday party then we canm put a fleet together to take your friends to some fabulous locations.
