One Design Regatta
The One Design Yacht Regatta is held in early October and is a new regatta. The yachts racing in the regatta are all one design and therefore equally matched with similar equipment, hulls, weight and sailing rigs. The yachts have similar numbers of crew and race on the same courses. The best team wins! The regatta includes a Platu sports boat fleet, a Firefly catamaran fleet and a Pulse 600 fleet of trimarans. The event takes place in Ao Yon Bay close by Chalong. More details of the event can be found on one design yacht racing
