Sail in Asia has 7 Platus and 4 larger IRC yachts, that are available for the regattas we plan to participate in, this year. Our Race Training Courses are run by us, for our PWSC sailing club members and are designed to give members, a simple entry to Yacht Racing. If you can sail (Zero To Hero students) then you can easily learn to race. Its really not rocket science! The prize is The Phuket Heroes Cup for the Sailors Regatta. The Race Training course is 80% practical, with a useful Learn to Race Handbook and lots of fun in the bay. WE explain what a yacht race is – The start procedure -The Starting line Simple rules The first leg Reading the jib telltales The race course Finishing Talk to Mike or Adam about this course. The yachts range from a 50ft Luxury Sunseeker to a 25ft Platu Keelboat. From only 12,000THB per day. We have multi hulls, ocean going cruising yachts and even a fast offshore racing yacht. Our Highlander is our exploration and adventure boat and if you want to go offshore then this is the boat for you. We use it for ocean passages and for adventure sailing / expeditions. Its the perfect yacht flotilla support vessel and can carry lots of stores or people to far off places when supporting other vessels. The vessel can stand upright even on a low tide on her wing keel. Easy to fix hull issues or just clean the propellor.
